Zacts LLC ("Zacts," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Zacts mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

By using Zacts, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with our policies, please do not use the App.

Information You Provide

• Account Information: When you sign up using Sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address (if you choose to share it).
• Property Information: Address, lease dates, and contact information for landlords/property managers that you enter.
• Inspection Data: Photos, videos, notes, and condition assessments you capture during property inspections.
• Signatures: Electronic signatures you provide when signing inspection reports.

Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
• Usage Data: Features used, inspection completion rates, and app interaction patterns.
• Location Data: We do not collect precise location. Property addresses are entered manually by users.
• Timestamps: Date and time of photos, videos, and signatures for legal documentation purposes.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Zacts App
• Generate inspection reports and PDF documents
• Enable electronic signatures with legally-binding timestamps
• Facilitate communication between tenants and landlords
• Send service-related notifications (e.g., when a report is signed)
• Respond to customer support requests
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraud

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud infrastructure provider. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
• Secure authentication via Sign in with Apple
• Row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own data
• Signed URLs with short expiration times for media access
• Audit trails with cryptographic hash chains for tamper detection

Photos and videos are stored in private cloud storage and are only accessible via time-limited signed URLs. We do not expose raw storage URLs.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in these circumstances:

• With Your Consent: When you share an inspection report with a landlord or property manager.
• Service Providers: With third-party vendors who assist in operating the App (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery), bound by confidentiality agreements.
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to users.

We retain your inspection data for the duration of your account plus 7 years to support legal defensibility of inspection reports. This aligns with typical statute of limitations for property disputes.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@zacts.app. Note that some data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
• Withdraw Consent: Opt out of optional data collection

Zacts is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Apple Sign In: For secure authentication (Apple Privacy Policy)
• Supabase: For data storage and backend services (Supabase Privacy Policy)

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy in the App and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
